Whats the difference?

Stock Plus has 2 piece carbon arms, the Racing has 1-piece carbon plates and revised alloy sides to make it legal for Stock class RCMT racing events.

Both are available in stock wheelbase (10.5”) or +1” for (11.5”)

Features:

In a first for UKM the Stock plus chassis kit comes unassembled as a builders kit with a colour instruction manual. This has made it possible to dramatically reduce the packaging size and shipping costs.

The Stock Plus retains the original suspension mounting points for the ladder bars, shock absorbers and body mounts. It keeps the original 10.5” factory wheelbase for those who want an authentic original look.

The main chassis frame is CNC machined from solid 8mm aluminium alloy and has 3mm carbon fibre wings braced by 8mm alloy brace bars. All included hardware are high quality stainless metric hex head screws.

The carbon top deck comes in 2 pieces, both can be used to capture the battery and motor wires if desired. Or just use 1 if you don’t need the extra space!

The delrin body mounts are stronger than the originals and are height adjustable. They can be used as traditional pins for use with body clips or flipped round to use the optional thumb wheels, both options are included.

Installation:

The chassis comes as a kit and requires assembly, full instructions are included.

This chassis kit is designed to replace the stock Clodbuster plastic tub chassis.

It uses the original ladder bar suspension and can retain the original shocks. However our 4-link kits will fit should you want to use them

The body mounts are in the standard locations and fit the orignal clodbuster body shell.

The battery has been relocated to the lower middle of the chassis, there is room for a shorty lipo with dimension no larger than 28mm(H) x 47mm(W) x 98mm(L).

A central servo position cannot be used so you will also need an on axle steering and/or rear lockout solution.

Stock Plus +1" is the same as Stock Plus except it has 11.5" wheelbase, revised brass and side plates are included in the kit.

Installation and use:

1) This chassis kit is designed to work with your Clodbuster axles with only minor modifications. A 3mm hole needs to be drilled at the bottom of each axle tube to attach the lower ink mounts.

2) Accepts most 2S long/shorty lipos.

3) Accepts 70-100mm shocks

4) Wheel wideners or wide wheels recommended, stock wheels may rub the lower links on full lock.

This chassis kit is designed to work with your Clodbuster axles with only minor modifications. A 3mm hole needs to be drilled at the bottom of each axle tube to attach the lower ink mounts.

The chassis accepts shocks in the 80mm-100mm range.

The upper and lower link mounts are included to attach to your gearcases.

You will need a vertical steering kit and/or rear lockout kit to complete, these are available in the steering section. This chassis is NOT compatible with the BTA steering kit.

Ideal ride height is the top links just below hiting the cross bar at full compression.
